Community Project Coordinator role at SE Systems

At SE Systems, empowering community organisations is part of our mission. We aim to provide tools, guidance, and resources to help energy efficiency goals for charities, not-for-profits, schools, and sports clubs. You'll join a growing Community Solutions team focused on expanding our One Stop Shop solution to help communities carry out energy efficiency upgrades.

You'll report to the Community Solutions Manager and help scale reach and impact of our community work, including supporting Sustainable Energy Communities and the SE Systems Community Fund.

This is a dynamic role that entails managing administration for new and existing clients. Strong attention to detail, relationship management, and communication are essential, along with the ability to prioritise and handle multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Liaising with community groups, organizing quotes for energy audits, providing information on financial supports available, coordinating with project managers and the grants teams.
  • Managing the list of Community Projects to ensure actions are taken in a timely manner.
  • Assisting in the preparation of grant application packs for community projects and project delivery files.
  • Researching funding available nationally for not-for-profit organisations.
  • Administering the SE Systems Community Fund and developing digital feedback forms, coordinating before-and-after feedback from beneficiaries, and drafting Impact Reports.
  • Assisting with the organisation of national Community events and maintaining an events calendar.
  • Supporting the marketing team by gathering information on completed Community Projects for case studies, videos, social media posts, and testimonials.
What You Need To Succeed
  • 3 years minimum experience in a coordination, project management, or administration role.
  • Third-level qualification, preferably in Business Administration, Project Management, or a relevant area.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with initiative and proactivity.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Results-driven with proven ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Flexible and adaptable; maintains a positive attitude.
  • Excellent time management and resilience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Full Driving Licence.
Desirable Criteria
  • Experience with grant applications or tendering.
  • Knowledge of energy retrofitting or the construction industry.
  • Data analytics, social impact analysis, or CSR reporting.
