Securitas Services Ireland are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Commercial Solutions Architect to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career in sales development and business development while contributing to the future success of Securitas. In this role, you will combine your technical expertise with your sales skills to promote and sell our products or services to customers. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and drive product adoption. Actively working on existing Securitas accounts to convert and also seek new business to develop. This role sits within our main Protective Services & Solutions Commercial team, with strong growth trajectory for the future.

- Customer Engagement – Identify and engage with prospective customers through various channels (cold calls, emails, networking) to understand their needs and present our technical solutions.
- Solution Selling – Use your technical knowledge to explain features, benefits, and applications of our products/services.
- Product Demonstrations – Provide technical demonstrations and presentations to customers, showcasing the product's capabilities and how it solves business challenges.
- Sales Strategy Development – Work with the sales team to create customized sales strategies and goals for specific customer segments.
- Technical Support – Offer pre-sale and post-sale technical support, working with engineering and support teams to ensure smooth product implementation.
- Relationship Building – Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, becoming their trusted advisor for technical inquiries.
- Market Research – Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and enhance product offerings.
- Sales Reporting – Track sales activities and outcomes, providing regular reports on progress, forecasts, and opportunities to the Commercial Director.
- Collaboration – Work with product development, marketing, and customer success teams to meet customers' technical requirements.
- Measurement of Success – Meeting and exceeding targets; new customer volume; accuracy in capturing sales data and following processes; accuracy of reporting sales activity, wins, leads & business development.
In addition to other demands, the role requires:
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
- Keyboarding, computer usage and familiarity with systems used by the Accounts Department
- Regular talking and hearing
- Close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus
- Frequent sitting for long periods
- Handling and being exposed to sensitive and confidential information
- Reading and analyzing reports and data
- Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex products and communicate benefits to non-technical customers
- Proven experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or similar role within the security, IT, or networking industries
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills; strong interpersonal skills and ability to build lasting client relationships
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of the electronic security market is a plus (training provided)
- Willingness to travel as needed
