MYP and DP Maths Teacher – Mat Leave Cover from October 2025. Location: Dublin, Ireland. Contract Type: Specified Purpose. Nord Anglia International School, Dublin is seeking a qualified Mathematics teacher with secondary experience to cover maternity leave and to drive excellent teaching and learning in Mathematics for a secondary program.
Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and challenging Mathematics lessons to secondary students, fostering critical thinking, inquiry-based learning, and real-world applications of mathematical concepts.
- Engage with the school community as an ambassador, participating in events, parent–teacher meetings, and community outreach to promote mathematical literacy and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary units of inquiry, integrating Mathematics into broader educational contexts.
- Utilize a range of assessment tools to track student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support differentiated learning.
- Incorporate technology and innovative resources to enhance student engagement and understanding in Mathematics.
- A recognised teaching qualification with experience teaching Mathematics at MYP and DP levels.
- A deep understanding of the IB curriculum and philosophy, with a passion for Mathematics education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience in developing and delivering creative, student-centred learning experiences aligned with IB goals and standards.
- Ability to collaborate and share specialist expertise; capable of building strong relationships with parents and students in a fast-paced international environment; able to meet visa-related restrictions for Ireland.
