Overview

Senior Speech & Language Therapist role at Enable Ireland, North Tipperary CDNT, Nenagh, Co Tipperary.

Contract
  • Contract Type: 1 Year Fixed Term
  • Contract Hours: 35 hours per week
  • Salary: €57,771 - €68,387 pro rata per annum (subject to Long Service Increments). Salary scales are subject to increases in 2025 in accordance with the WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations.
  • Annual Leave Entitlement: 33 days pro rata per annum
Responsibilities
  • Provide a speech and language therapy service including assessment and intervention
  • Clinical supervision and ongoing service delivery to children with a range of disabilities aged 0–18 years
  • Work across a range of settings including the clinic, preschool, schools and special preschools, children\'s home and community settings
Requirements
  • Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Speech & Language Therapists Register maintained by CORU
  • Three years full-time (or an aggregate of three years full-time) post-qualification clinical experience
  • Provide proof of statutory registration on CORU before a contract of employment is issued
  • Maintain annual registration on CORU; confirm annual registration with Enable Ireland
Desirable Criteria
  • Experience of interdisciplinary working
  • Minimum 2 years\' experience working with children with disabilities (including ASD assessment/intervention)
  • Experience working with eating, drinking and swallowing (EDS) difficulties
  • Experience in Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC)
