Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist assessment, management, and treatment of adult patients with swallowing and communication disorders.
  • Act as a clinical lead in dysphagia management within the hospital.
  • Support, mentor, and supervise junior colleagues and students.
  • Contribute to service development, audit, and evidence-based practice.
  • Work effectively within the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • CORU registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
  • Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, with significant practice in adult dysphagia.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and patient-centred care.
