Overview

Medforce Recruitment are seeking a passionate and dedicated Staff Grade Speech and Language Therapist to join the multidisciplinary team in an acute setting based in Co. Clare. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated therapist to contribute to a high-quality, person-centred service in a supportive hospital environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a quality speech and language therapy service to adults with communication and swallowing difficulties in an acute and rehabilitation setting.
  • Complete assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver interventions for inpatients and outpatients.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.
  • Support service development and contribute to team initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Hold a recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Registered (or eligible to register) with CORU as a Speech and Language Therapist.
  • Certification and competence in the assessment and management of dysphagia (feeding, eating, drinking, and swallowing disorders).
  • Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • A professional and compassionate approach to patient care.
