TechHeads is excited to bring you a new opportunity for an experienced Cyber Security Architect. This is a hybrid position based in Dublin where you will work with a large-scale Irish organisation.
You will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of greenfield security solutions, with a focus on cloud and on‑prem environments. The role offers the chance to build in‑demand expertise in both enterprise and cloud‑native architectures and to directly influence security architecture across DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and modern security frameworks.
You will work with cutting‑edge tools and technologies (e.g., Terraform, Kubernetes, and related security tooling) to ensure secure software delivery practices.
This is a hybrid role with a 2 days onsite requirement, offering a good work‑life balance.
If you are looking for a role that provides freedom and flexibility while expanding your cyber security skillset, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the implementation of greenfield security solutions across cloud and on‑prem environments.
- Lead end-to-end security integration in DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Shape modern security frameworks and contribute to security architecture across enterprise and cloud-native environments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure secure software delivery and align security with business goals.
Required Experience
- 10+ years' experience in cyber security architecture or security engineering.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, CIS, Zero Trust).
- Expertise in cloud security (Azure preferred), including IAM, encryption, and containerization.
- Hands-on experience with security tools: firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, EDR.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps and secure software development lifecycle.
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA, TOGAF or Azure Architect.
