Overview

Cyber Security Architect – Greenfield Development. Hybrid position based in Dublin with TechHeads, working with a large-scale Irish organisation.

This role is a hands-on position focused on the design and implementation of security solutions across IT and OT for a high-impact project. You will apply strong knowledge of cyber security frameworks to deliver greenfield security solutions for on-prem and cloud environments, working with cross-functional teams and engaging key stakeholders to maintain security standards.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement security solutions across IT and OT for a high-impact, greenfield project.
  • Apply cyber security frameworks (such as NIST and ISO 27001) to deliver secure solutions for on-prem and cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage stakeholders to maintain security standards and deliver project objectives.
  • Leverage industry-relevant technologies and frameworks to execute security architecture initiatives.
  • Stay aligned with DevSecOps practices and secure software development lifecycle principles.
Required Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in cyber security architecture or security engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, CIS, Zero Trust).
  • Expertise in cloud security (Azure preferred), including IAM, encryption, and containerization.
  • Hands-on experience with security tools: firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, EDR.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps and secure software development lifecycle.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA, TOGAF or Azure Architect.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
