Role:
We are currently seeking to hire a Cyber Security Manager with a strong focus on Penetration testing, Red Teaming, and other offensive security disciplines to join our Cyber Security practice, based in Dublin city centre. At KPMG, our Cyber Security team leads the charge in delivering advanced technical services to clients across sectors such as Financial Services, Telecommunications, High-end Defence Assurance and Telecommunications.
We ideally need you to have the following:
- Experience in offensive security: penetration testing, red teaming
- Proven experience of successfully managing and delivering testing
- Strong technical background in computing, networks, and programming.
- Expertise in using a variety of penetration testing tools (e.g., Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Nessus, Cobalt Strike, etc.)
- Proven experience of producing high quality deliverables working alone and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience leading, coaching and mentoring highly technical teams
- A genuine interest and desire to work with a wide variety of clients including large multi-national clients in the information security field.
Advantageous:
- Cloud security experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience in conducting Threat-Led Red Team operations
- Research and Development experience
- Certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, CRTO or similar are highly desirable
- Your work will be varied. Below will be some of your core responsibilities:
You will have ideas of how to drive the business forward and be skilled in the commercial aspects of security testing, above all you will know what clients are looking for when they buy security testing and how to deliver it.
Aspects of the role include:
- Management and delivery of penetration testing services to clients to include the following:
- Project Scoping
- Financial and risk management
- Delivery of testing and the oversight of testers
- Review of deliverables (QA)
- Developing constructive client relationships, both inside and outside of KPMG.
- Developing an understanding of KPMG's broader offerings to enable identification of business opportunities
- Business development including contributing to proposals and participating in client presentations.
