The Connemara Coast Hotel invites applications for the vacant post of Leisure Centre Manager.

Role

The Role Entails The Following Duties

  • To ensure the Leisure Centre operates efficiently and effectively at all times and provide our guests and members with an excellent service.
  • To ensure the safety and security of leisure centre guests at all times.
  • To ensure the swimming pool and leisure area is cleaned and maintained to the required standards and Health and Safety regulatory standards.
  • To assist persons attending the club, ensuring all are comfortable with the exercise equipment.
  • To ensure the reception and leisure area is thoroughly cleaned, vacuumed and dusted daily to hygiene standards.
  • To comply with all fire, safety and hygiene regulations.
  • To record any maintenance within the leisure areas.
  • To demonstrate consistently excellent guest care at all times.
  • To handle customer queries, requests and complaints according to the hotel's procedures.
About The Role

The Successful Candidate will possess the following:

  • Commitment to Customer Service - Essential
  • Experience at Senior/Manager level in a gym, leisure centre or health club setting
  • Lifeguard Qualification - Essential
  • Swim Teacher Qualification - Desirable
  • ITEC/NCEF Gym Instructor qualification - would also be advantageous
  • Pool Plant qualifications would also be advantageous

The role will operate 5 days over 7 on a shift basis and include midweek and weekends.
