The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Operations Manager will own the smooth running of Financefair's day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless fund management, portfolio health monitoring and payment processing. You will lead a high-performing team of analysts, fostering a culture of operational excellence and accountability.
This role offers a unique opportunity to drive operational efficiency and innovation in a fast-paced fintech environment, with direct access to senior leadership and influence over process optimisation and automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the processing, allocation, and approval of deals, payments, and funding requests, ensuring adherence to relevant internal approval procedures.

- Oversee daily cash, liquidity management (including managing FX requirements).
- Oversee portfolio monitoring and KPI checks, ensuring proactive risk management.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives in line with operational best practices to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Credit, Business Development, and senior leadership on strategic projects.
- Partner with Technology to launch and refine platforms, tools, and automation workflows.
The Ideal Candidate:
- 3rd level degree in business, finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in operations management within financial services or fintech.
- Proven track record in managing operational workflows in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management, organisational, and decision-making skills.
- Strong commercial acumen, highly numerate with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate across departments, particularly with Technology, Business Development, and Credit teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with automation tools is a distinct advantage.
- A keen interest in innovation and technology with an ability to question and improve process.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., QFA, ACCA) desirable.
