This position is remote. We are looking for a strong Administrative Support candidate to join our team.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the adjusting team (Accident Benefits, Property or other areas) and the branch office.
  • Deliver high level customer service to clients and the insured.
  • Set up and preparation of new claims assignments to internal adjusters per KPI and client guidelines.
  • Maintain professional telephone manners and excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Problem-solve and work well independently and in a team.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to re-prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members and interact with all levels within the organization.
  • Work well under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Maintain applicable information and data entry within internal claims management software.
  • Send appropriate client acknowledgements, confirmations and correspondence to clients, claimants, legal representatives and others on various claim files.
  • Transcribe data from source documents using standard procedures with some judgment for review by the adjuster.
  • Process client invoicing for claims and prepare files for closure.
  • Provide reception relief, answer phones and forward calls professionally and efficiently.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
  • A post-secondary diploma in Office Administration, or experience in a real estate or law office; equivalencies will be considered.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and learning.
  • Able to draw valid conclusions and communicate them effectively.
  • Be eligible to qualify for an Adjuster's license and willing to take courses to obtain the license in the future.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive).
  • Previous experience in a dynamic team environment is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated initiative, follow-up skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Professionalism and strong work ethic; ability to contribute to a team.
  • Advanced communication skills, including strong written and technical communication.
  • Proactive, positive approach to customer service and timely responses to inquiries.
  • Ability to handle conflict and difficult situations with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and learning and positive team dynamics.
