Position Summary

KKR is seeking a Global Mobility lead to be based in Dublin on the Total Rewards team. Your primary focus will be managing and coordinating the global mobility programs and assignments within our organization. This role will be responsible for facilitating smooth domestic and international employee relocations, ensuring compliance with immigration and tax regulations, and providing support to internationally mobile employees. The role requires strong knowledge of global mobility policies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex international regulations. Additionally, this person is responsible for program compliance, supplier partner management and ensuring the program meets the needs of our regional and global businesses and stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of managing employee mobility and have experience/ knowledge in the areas of tax and immigration related laws/practices.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a global mobility strategy that aligns with the Firm's overall goals and objectives.
  • Update global mobility policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance with regulations.
  • Manage and coordinate the end-to-end process of global mobility assignments, including relocation, tax, and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality and cost-effective services.
  • Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless and efficient relocation of employees.
  • Provide guidance and support to Human Capital Business Partners, employees, and managers regarding global mobility policies, processes, and requirements.
  • Collaborate with Human Capital Business Partner, Payroll, and Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of international assignments, including compensation and benefits.
  • Provide advice and guidance on international tax obligations and ensure compliance with tax regulations for globally mobile employees, including ensuring accurate tax reporting of taxable benefits in all applicable jurisdictions.
  • Develop cost tracking measures to improve visibility into Global Mobility program costs and build strategies to reduce the costs.
  • Review and process relocation expense invoices to ensure policy compliance and accurate reporting.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records related to global mobility assignments.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in global mobility to continuously improve processes and procedures.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years' experience with the compensation, tax, and benefits aspects of global mobility programs (domestic and international) in complex and rapidly changing organizations
  • Experience implementing and managing global mobility programs
  • In-depth knowledge of global mobility policies, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Extensive experience in managing relationships with global service providers and vendors
  • Strong knowledge of international tax considerations and their impact on globally mobile employees, including tax equalization and payroll reporting requirements
  • Experience coordinating and managing domestic and international relocation services
  • Proficiency with analytics, MS Office applications, HRIS systems, and leveraging technology for analysis and to drive efficiency and scale
  • Relevant certifications or professional qualifications such as GMS, CRP, or similar or related fields are advantageous
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Tax, Accounting, business, or a related field

  • Ability to translate the technical nature of mobility work (compensation implications, international taxation) for clear stakeholder understanding
  • Outstanding organization skills to manage multiple demands and projects while prioritizing time efficiently and remaining attentive to detail
  • Takes initiative and uses good judgment; excellent follow-up skills
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with changes in global mobility regulations and best practices
  • Recognizes confidential, sensitive, and proprietary information and maintains confidentiality
