Overview

Senior Quantity Surveyor role at AECOM in Dublin. This involves leading cost management activities and delivering high‑quality survey services for infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities
  • Lead cost management commissions and take responsibility for their successful delivery.
  • Provide support to other surveyors on the team in delivering project services.
  • Provide effective mentoring and support to Graduate Surveyors.
  • Ensure projects and tasks are managed and completed efficiently, on time and to the client's satisfaction.
  • Develop strong reciprocal relationships with consultants and project team members.
  • Interface with AECOM clients and design team members on specific projects.
  • Manage the delivery of cost management team outputs on allocated projects in line with timescales and quality standards.
  • Provide full Cost Management duties to AECOM clients on allocated projects.
  • Participate in non-project team activities such as QA, office management, business development, and H&S.
Sector experience

Infrastructure projects.

Qualifications
  • Degree Qualified – BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management.
  • Professionally Qualified – on the Statutory Register of Quantity Surveyors in Ireland; preferably Chartered Quantity Surveyor with RICS or SCSI.
  • Excellent IT Skills with the ability to use digital measurement, cost planning, and tender document tools.
