Are you a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a proven track record on large-scale, mission-critical projects?

The Company:

We are exclusively representing a Tier One construction leader renowned for delivering some of the world's most complex and technically advanced data centre projects. With a significant and long-term pipeline of work in Ireland, they are now seeking a high-calibre Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team on a major new hyperscale data centre development in West Dublin.

The Role:

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be a key player in the commercial success of this multi-million euro project. You will take full ownership of a package or section, working autonomously while contributing to the overall commercial strategy.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the end-to-end commercial process for significant sub-contractor packages from procurement to final account.
  • Preparing accurate cost valuations, cost reports, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Identifying, pricing, and negotiating variations and change orders.
  • Providing robust financial reporting and analysis to the Commercial Manager.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate submission of client applications and subsequent payment chasing.
  • Mentoring and supporting more junior members of the commercial team.
  • Implementing and adhering to the company's stringent commercial procedures.
  • Proactively identifying commercial risks and opportunities.

The Candidate:

To be successful in this high-profile role, you will need:

  • A recognised degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • 8+ years' post-qualification experience with a main contractor.
  • Proven experience on large-scale Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, or other mission-critical/industrial projects is essential.
  • Demonstrable experience managing large sub-contractor packages (€5m+).
  • Strong expertise in procurement, cost control, and final account negotiation.
  • Excellent financial and commercial acumen.
  • A proactive, diligent, and solution-focused mindset.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard software (e.g., Causal, etc.).
