Senior Recruitment Consultant - Civil Engineering & Construction at GPC

A leading, award-winning civil engineering contractor is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team in West Dublin. This is a key leadership role, managing a team of 5 Junior and Intermediate Quantity Surveyors across major civil infrastructure projects.

The company is known for delivering high-quality, complex civils work across Ireland and has built an excellent reputation for staff retention, career progression, and a genuinely supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the commercial delivery of multiple civils projects
  • Manage, mentor, and support a team of 5 Quantity Surveyors
  • Oversee cost planning, reporting, and control procedures
  • Client liaison, contract negotiation, and dispute resolution
  • Ensure compliance with commercial and legal requirements
  • Work closely with project management and site teams

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
  • 7+ years' experience in civil engineering or infrastructure projects
  • Strong commercial acumen and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Experience managing or mentoring QS teams
