Overview

On behalf of my client, a global medical devices company, we are seeking a driven and forward-thinking professional to join their Aesculap Team in Ireland (Leinster).

Role Overview

We are looking for a high-performing individual to join their surgical sales team to manage, develop and grow the orthopaedic implant & Power Tools Portfolio within Ireland, specifically the Leinster area.

Responsibilities
  • Generating sales to achieve profitability/margins in line with delineated targets.
  • Identify and maximise new sales opportunities with existing and potential customers.
  • Identify efficiencies for partners & areas of growth within the Orthopaedic Surgery market while distinguishing the AESCULAP brand from the competition.
  • Proven capability to lead theatre/hospital capital projects, delivering value as a trusted systems partner.
  • Enhance the existing model for orthopaedic procedures & Power Tools across all disciplines.
  • Identify new and foster existing partnerships within the public and private hospital settings in Ireland.
  • Managing key projects.
  • Maintaining market and competitor analysis and providing regular feedback.
Experience / Skills & Competencies to succeed
  • Commercial experience in this field preferable, minimum of 2-3 years.
  • Proven experience building customer relationships.
  • Experience of the local healthcare sector.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Full eligibility to work in Ireland.
  • Strong sense of urgency to respond to customer needs.
  • Excellent communication with the ability to deal with customers effectively at all levels.
  • Ability to coordinate and train other staff and customers.
  • Resilient – able to deal with a challenging and fast-paced environment.
  • Remuneration package aligns with role.
