Delivery Manager - Senior Placements (Aviation, Construction & Engineering)

Head of Delivery – Infrastructure

Location: Dublin Airport

Working Format: Onsite, 5 days a week

Base Salary: Up to €115,000 p.a.

Bonus: Up to 20% (Performance Related)

Pension: Up to 18% (Employee 8%, Employer 10%)

Annual Leave: 27 days + bank holidays + 2 company days (Good Friday & Christmas Eve)

This is not an IT role. We are seeking an accomplished professional from an infrastructure, engineering, or construction background who can lead at scale in a fast-moving operational environment.

he Role

We are seeking an exceptional leader to take on the role of Head of Delivery – Infrastructure, overseeing the strategic delivery of a complex, high-value portfolio of capital infrastructure projects. This is a pivotal role ensuring major programmes are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement strategies, frameworks, and policies for current and future infrastructure delivery.
  • Lead internal and external teams from inception to asset handover, ensuring all end-user requirements are met.
  • Maintain strict control over schedule, cost, quality, and safety to meet agreed targets.
  • Set and enforce reporting standards, reviewing performance and challenging deviations from best practice.
  • Provide strategic direction to Programme Directors to deliver agreed benefits and outcomes.
  • Optimise resources across the portfolio, adapting to evolving programme and business needs.
  • Embed a strong health, safety, and environmental culture across all delivery functions.
  • Prepare board-level reports on programme performance, risks, and key issues.
  • Ensure full compliance with legislation, regulations, and organisational policies.

Skills & Experience

  • Degree in engineering, construction, project management, surveying, or related discipline; postgraduate qualifications advantageous.
  • 20+ years' industry experience, including at least 10 years in senior management delivering major capital programmes.
  • Proven track record in technically complex projects within operational environments.
  • Strong leadership in programme delivery, procurement, contract management, financial governance, and change management.
  • Experience implementing best-practice delivery frameworks.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills.
  • Commercially astute, with experience managing large-scale budgets and delivering value.
