The company designs, manufactures, and integrates custom robotic automation solutions for various industries including Pharma, Food and a few others. They serve an international customer base, enabling increased efficiency and competitiveness for their clients.
OpportunityWe're currently on the lookout for a driven and technically savvy Junior and Senior Technical Sales Engineer. Our client is seeking an individual who will be instrumental in propelling sales growth by supporting the sales team in client interactions, comprehending their technical needs, and delivering comprehensive solutions. This role presents an outstanding chance for career advancement within the realm of robotics automation.
Responsibilities- Technical Comprehension and Proficiency: Gain a thorough understanding of the company's product range, including standard robotic systems and their unique capability to develop modular and flexible automated solutions. Show proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word to produce comprehensive and visually appealing technical documentation. Utilize technical writing skills and visual tools to articulate client requirements effectively.
- Sales Support and Proposal Development: Aid the sales team in conducting detailed discussions with clients to grasp their technical needs, challenges, and pain points. Utilize AutoCAD and relevant software to create preliminary 2D machine layouts, offering clients a visual representation of proposed solutions. Assist in crafting detailed technical sales proposals, ensuring alignment with client specifications. Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to accurately price projects, considering materials, labor, and associated expenses. Present clients with immersive visualizations of proposed solutions, leveraging 3D design or animations to enhance presentations and proposals.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential
- Strong technical aptitude and interest in robotics and automation
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capability to comprehend and effectively convey technical concepts
- Self-driven, results-focused, and enthusiastic about continuous learning
- Prior experience in sales or customer-facing positions is advantageous
- Flexible and adaptable mindset, committed to contributing to exceptional customer experiences
- Must be able to work with ambiguous information and evolving project specifications within tight deadlines
- Experience with 2D design software, AutoCAD, Draftsight
- Experience with 3D design/modelling software including SolidWorks, Inventor, Fusion 360, CREO, 3DS Max, Maya, Blender, etc.
