Construction Security Officer - Dublin 15

Securitas Ireland is recruiting a full-time Construction Security Officer based in Dublin 15. A valid Safe Pass is desirable. Rate of pay is €15.41 per hour plus night shift allowance of €16.80 per shift and Sunday allowances of 50c per hour.

Overview

To protect our customer's property, people and assets by providing security services to a specific site in direct accordance with the site's published Assignment Instructions (AIs) and any subsequent changes.

Responsibilities
  • Fully and satisfactorily complete all training required for the particular site.
  • Perform all tasks and duties on site as defined within the published Assignment Instructions (AIs).
  • Review the published Assignment Instructions to stay informed of changes and suggest improvements to enhance service levels.
  • Identify and immediately report any Health & Safety hazards or potential hazards on site.
  • Be alert to threats or changes in the work environment and take appropriate action to reduce disruption, loss or damage.
  • Use good judgment and involve others if a situation becomes threatening.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed notebook entries after incidents for Incident Report purposes.
  • Wear the provided uniform correctly at all times and maintain high standards of personal grooming and hygiene.
  • Maintain a helpful, courteous approach to colleagues, customers' staff and the public as applicable to uphold a professional image.
Security Officer Specification
  • Fluent English essential
  • Excellent written and attention to detail skills
  • Good level of PC skills
  • Previous experience desirable
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Flexible with working hours
  • PSA Licence
  • Manual handling – Desirable
  • Safe Pass Desirable
  • Own transport desirable
