OverviewThe Montenotte is an independent, privately-owned luxury destination hotel located in Cork. The property offers guests panoramic views of the city and harbour, blending heritage with contemporary design.
Responsibilities- Carry out all duties in line with departmental Standards Manual.
- Deliver excellent care to our guests.
- Ensure that areas of responsibility are clean and well maintained and cleaning checklists are adhered to.
- Report defective materials and equipment to the appropriate Departments.
- Have strong product knowledge of all areas of the hotel.
- Accept a flexible work schedule necessary for uninterrupted service to hotel guests and maintain flexibility within teams.
- Ensure the hotel achieves the targets and that the highest standards of luxury and quality are delivered consistently to our guests.
- Adhere to the hotel's grooming procedures.
- Clock in and out at the start and finish of each shift and for breaks. Inform your manager if you did not receive your break entitlement.
- Comply with the hotel's Fire and Emergency procedures, as well as Health & Safety and Food Hygiene regulations of the hotel.
- Ensure all accidents and incidents are investigated and reported in accordance with the hotel's procedures.
- Support the hotel's Environmental policy by complying with waste management and energy efficiency.
- Ensure your section is fully prepared for service.
- Be fully aware of any menu updates, hotel promotions or specials.
- Be knowledgeable and informed about the introduction of products.
- Carry out cleaning as required.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure that all guest requests are attended to efficiently.
- Be a good team player, reliable, innovative, and motivated.
- Strong product knowledge of all areas of the hotel.
- Flexible work schedule necessary for uninterrupted service to guests.
- Comply with Fire and Emergency procedures, Health & Safety regulations, and Food Hygiene regulations.
- Ability to work as part of a team and support other departments as needed.
