Job Description:

Jones Engineering seeks a Civil Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join the T&D and Renewables team. This role offers growth opportunities with support from our senior commercial team.

Responsibilities:
  1. Tendering & Pre-Construction: Participate in civil tenders, evaluate subcontractor quotations, complete take-offs, liaise with stakeholders, attend meetings, and advise on bid strategies.
  2. Quantity Surveying: Ensure contractual compliance, monitor risks, prepare progress applications, manage project financials, review subcontractor accounts, support procurement, provide reporting, analyze trends, and manage contractual correspondence.
Skills/Requirements:
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 5+ years' post-qualification experience.
  • Previous civil estimating and QS experience.
  • Experience with HV substations, T&D, utility projects is an advantage.
  • Strong IT, communication, and teamwork skills.
