OverviewOur client is a leading Venture Capital company who are seeking a Financial Controller to lead group-wide financial operations and support strategic decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee financial operations across the group including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash flow management
- Deliver timely and accurate monthly and annual financial reports
- Strategy focused decision making
- Dealing with Investors, pitching etc
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring reconciliations and transfer pricing adjustments are accurate
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and tax reporting obligations
- Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
- 5+ years post-qualification experience as a Financial Controller, ideally in a regulated or global organisation
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and reporting skills
- Proficiency with financial systems and advanced Excel skills
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management experience
- Strong analytical mindset and commercial acumen
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
