This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our grocery business unit as a National Account Manager. You will work closely with the Sales Controller to develop strategic customer joint business plans and will be responsible for implementing these plans with one Multiple Customer in the Irish Market. The ideal candidate is resilient, proactive, and capable of working in a dynamic environment, with experience in cross-functional collaboration and strong commercial acumen. Proven ability in customer interaction and delivering performance, along with a good understanding of category-based selling, are essential.

Your role is crucial in achieving budgeted sales, spend, and profit targets for your customer's P&L. Daily activities include leading monthly customer meetings, managing promotions and NPD submissions, and becoming an expert in key categories to optimize space and range. You will analyze sales data, market share, and promotional performance to enhance sales and profitability, present performance reviews, and maintain monthly reports for NPD, promotional activities, and accruals.

Key Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a National Account Manager in a multi-channel environment within the Republic of Ireland.
  • Experience working in a multinational or distributor setting dedicated to a multinational.
  • Food industry background is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable with presentations and stakeholder engagement.
  • Understanding of P&L management and strong commercial awareness.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Exceptional skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills to generate insights and identify opportunities.
