The Family Centre is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Head of Services to lead our team, manage daily operations, and shape the future of our not-for-profit organisation. Based in Castlebar, the successful candidate will oversee services in counselling, bereavement support, education & training, and social prescribing. Reporting to the Board, the role includes managing staff and volunteers, financial management, strong governance, sourcing funding, strategic plans, facility management and building key stakeholder partnerships.
Responsibilities- Oversee services in counselling, bereavement support, education & training, and social prescribing.
- Manage staff and volunteers, financial management, and strong governance.
- Sourcing funding, developing strategic plans, and facility management.
- Build and maintain key stakeholder partnerships.
- Minimum 3 years' management experience in a not-for-profit/charity setting or similar setting.
- 3rd-level qualification in Healthcare Management, Social Science, Business, Administration or related fields.
- Strong leadership, organisational and financial management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Empathy, professionalism, and commitment to community wellbeing.
- Experience in counselling/psychotherapy or knowledge of healthcare standards is desirable but not essential.
Salary commensurate with experience.
