Job Opportunity: Junior Sous Chef

This is an exciting role for a skilled and motivated individual to join our kitchen team as a Junior Sous Chef. Our Executive Head Chef was recently voted Chef of the Year at the Georgina Campbell awards.

We are seeking a driven candidate who shares our passion for great food, service, and people. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the Executive Head Chef and Sous Chef through excellent communication in the development of the kitchen team and the product offered.

  • Assume responsibility and manage each section of the kitchen to a high standard when and where required.
  • Prepare dishes for service from start to finish as requested by the Head Chef or Sous Chef.
  • Ensure that mise en place is ready in time for service and appropriate for forecasted business levels.
  • Keep the kitchen environment safe and hygienic through regimental cleaning and good practice in line with Food Safety Standards and as directed by the head chef.
  • Manage all guest requests in a timely and efficient manner.
