Veterinary Surgeon – Waterford City

Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon seeking a varied, rewarding role that offers both autonomy and balance?

We're seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join this friendly and professional team in Waterford City. This full-time or flexible-percentage position offers genuine work-life balance and a varied caseload.

Role Highlights
  • Manage a broad spectrum of medical and surgical cases, including diagnostics and consultations
  • Enjoy occasional sole-charge responsibilities within a supportive environment
  • Work with modern diagnostic equipment and collaborate closely with experienced colleagues
Responsibilities
  • Diverse case mix & balanced workload: manage a wide variety of medical and surgical cases including consultations, diagnostics, and general soft tissue surgery
  • Flexible hours & work-life balance: full-time, part-time, or flexi-time arrangements; 40-hour week for full-time with Saturday mornings fairly shared
  • Clinical autonomy in modern facilities: take ownership of cases with support from a collaborative team and up-to-date diagnostic tools (digital radiography, tonometry, blood pressure monitoring)
About you
  • A VCI-registered Veterinary Surgeon with solid small animal experience
  • Confident managing a busy and varied caseload, including occasional sole charge
  • Committed to compassionate, evidence-based care and keen on further professional development
The Package Includes
  • Up to €70,000 DOE
