Overview
Veterinary Surgeon – Full-Time, Permanent at The Pet Hospital, Waterford.
Salary: Up to €60,000 DOE.
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Veterinary Surgeon to join our progressive and supportive team.
This is a full-time, permanent position ideal for a confident clinician who thrives in a collaborative, forward-thinking practice.
We are a 100% small animal, state-of-the-art veterinary hospital with high quality equipment.
The Pet Hospital team consists of 2 Veterinary Surgeons and 2 Veterinary Nurses.
You will have sole charge responsibilities and clinical autonomy, a varied caseload including consultations, diagnostics, and general soft tissue surgery (routine and emergency).
Responsibilities
First opinion consultations and ongoing case management
Routine and emergency soft tissue surgery
Diagnostic workups using in-house facilities
Client communication and care

What We Need From You
VCI Registered Veterinary Surgeon
Competence in all routine surgeries and diagnostics
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for delivering gold-standard veterinary care
Experience working in a sole charge environment
