What's the opportunity?

Intercom believes in the power of quality content to grow the business. We publish thoughtful content across blog posts, newsletters, podcasts, guides, and social media, which generates leads for Intercom. We're looking for an Editor to join our team in Dublin and help elevate our content marketing.

You will contribute to the flagship Intercom blog and newsletters, recognised as a go-to source on customer service, AI, product and design. You'll also create content for our social channels, podcasts, gated content such as books and guides, and other projects to attract potential customers.

We don't follow formulaic content marketing. We publish high-quality articles, podcasts, and books that are interesting and valuable to readers.

What will I be doing?
  • Create high-quality content for our newsletters, blog, and social media channels.
  • Produce compelling keyword-focused content to generate organic search traffic.
  • Support the editorial production process – proofreading copy, writing headlines, and preparing visual assets.
  • Help colleagues share knowledge and insights through a variety of media.
  • Optimize processes to maintain high-quality content efficiently.
  • Devise and implement strategies to share content widely with novel distribution and promotion tactics.
What skills do I need?

You need excellent writing and editing skills, an enthusiasm for digital marketing, and an interest in how software is changing the world.

We'd Also Like You To Have
  • At least three years of professional experience, with at least two in a writing/editing/creator role.
  • Skills in newsletter promotion and social media content production.
  • Experience with content production tools such as the following:
    • CRMs (e.g., Wordpress)
    • Google Analytics
    • SEO tools (e.g., AHRefs)
    • Audience research tools (e.g., Sparktoro)
    • Email marketing tools (e.g., Marketo or Mailchimp)
    • Design and image editing software (e.g., Figma)
