Senior Legal Counsel | Leading Tech Company | Onsite in Dublin

We are currently recruiting for one of the largest telecommunications and research companies in the world - a global leading provider of information and communications solutions.

We're seeking a Legal Counsel to join the dynamic team, providing essential legal guidance for cutting-edge digital mobile and smart car services across Europe, North America, and other international markets.

The Role

In this pivotal position, you'll offer daily advice to our product and compliance teams, as well as management, on a wide array of complex legal matters. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating regulations such as:

  • The Digital Services Act (DSA)
  • The Digital Markets Act (DMA)
  • General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • Artificial Intelligence Act (AIA)
  • Intellectual Property (IP) law
  • NIS2 Directive
  • Other relevant EU and national laws impacting digital mobile and smart car services.

Beyond advisory work, you'll also be involved in routine contract drafting, negotiation, and review, as well as managing consumer complaints and responding to law enforcement requests. You'll report directly to the General Counsel.

Who You Are

We're looking for a proactive and curious individual who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified to practice law in Ireland (preferred), the UK, or an EU member state.
  • A minimum of two years' postgraduate work experience; experience within a law firm is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort working within a highly diverse global team.
  • Proven ability to multitask and plan effectively, handling pressure with ease.
  • A strong sense of curiosity and a genuine willingness to learn new legal areas and business concepts.
  • Full professional proficiency in English is required.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is a distinct advantage.
