We are seeking Mobile RGI and Boilers Mechanical Technicians to join our team in the Leinster area.

Working pattern: Monday to Friday from 8am to 4:30pm.

***Flexibility required for on-call requests.***

Main Duties and Responsibilities

You will carry out planned maintenance activities, reactive maintenance, and new installations to ensure the business operates in a safe, comfortable, productive, and cost-effective environment. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of maintenance of plant and utilities, in compliance with EHS and Quality standards. This is a nationwide mobile mechanical engineer role.

  • Perform planned preventative maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Proactively identify maintenance issues to maximize equipment uptime.
  • Service mechanical equipment, boilers, heat systems, and pressure units.
  • Fault resolution and repairs of broken equipment.
  • Upload PPM records and reports as required.
  • Assist in quoting for follow-on works and installing new plant and equipment.
  • Keep the help desk and engineering managers updated on equipment issues.
  • Maintain a self-motivated approach and strive for continuous improvement.
  • Complete necessary training within the agreed timeframe.
  • Familiarize yourself with relevant site systems as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and legislative requirements.
  • Adhere to all regulations and EH & S procedures.
  • Report accidents, incidents, and anomalies to the line manager.
  • Maintain tidy work areas and plant rooms.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Senior trades in plumbing/mechanical discipline or a relevant diploma.
  • Experience in Utilities/Facilities management.
  • RGI qualification and formal training.
  • Relevant previous experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literacy (tablet, smartphone, software).
  • Proven track record in preventative and reactive maintenance.
  • Garda vetting is mandatory.
  • IND1 clearance.
