Library Facilities Assistant, UCD Library, permanent or temporary (full-time, part-time, or flexibly arranged).
Responsibilities- Maintain safety and security of library users and staff and monitor library buildings and spaces.
- Provide professional, user-focused customer service to library patrons; act as first-line support in emergencies.
- Assist in library services delivery with administrative and operational support; respond to admissions/access queries and provide information on lending policies and library services.
- Proactively monitor facilities and report maintenance or other issues; support flexible operations as required.
- Communication skills and strong organisational and administrative abilities.
- Experience in facilities management and/or security/key holding desirable.
- Introductory level IT skills; experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary: 95 Services Steward_2013 (7931) Salary Scale: €36,241 - €45,421 per annum (pro rata for part-time roles).
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with Department of Finance guidelines.
