Due to continued growth and opportunities to support our clients, we have opportunities at both Senior Consultant and Manager level for candidates with atechnical modelling background, ideally with assurance related experience and proficiency with technology enabling solutions who will join our Risk Consulting team in Dublin.
We are specifically interested in hearing from candidates who hold a combination of accountancy, audit, businessqualifications and technical / data experience and ideally have a consulting background.
The successful candidate should have at least 4 years post college experience.
We ideally need you to have the following skills / experience:
- An excellent knowledge of Excel. Experience with any of the following software packages: MS Access; SQL Server; Data Visualization applications (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Qlik); Statistical packages (e.g. MATLAB, SPSS); VBA; C++, R or Python is a bonus.
- Experience in data modelling and management, integration and manipulation of large datasets.
- A broad range of general knowledge on wider commercial, business and economic issues.
- Knowledge of Financial Services, Insurance and Asset Management sectors is a plus.
- Experience of client-facing roles with a high quality of delivery to tight timescales.
- Good communication skills (written and oral)
- Strong attention to detail is required; and
- Ability to think logically and work through problems from start to finish.
Your work will be varied. Below will be some of your core responsibilities:
- Design, develop and document complex business models.
- Design review strategies (including re-calculation strategies) to validate client's models and identify risks.
- Developing analytical and reporting solutions including extracting data using SQL and processing and reconciling large data sets.
- Carry out relevant analysis and present your findings (both written and orally)
- Contribute to developing an outline of key client issues and the scope of work.
- Developing scoping and planning documents for assurance projects with an IT element.
- Contribute to project teams and take responsibility for completing high quality work within agreed timescales; and
- The successful candidate will also be required to deliver to tight deadlines in a project environment where additional hours may be required to meet deadlines
