Dublin, Dublin City, Ireland Crosscare Limited Full time
Overview

This is a new role for a confident and creative marketing professional with strong content and copywriting skills. As NPD & Brand Assistant, you'll support product development and brand activities from early-stage concepts through to launch, helping to create marketing materials, manage timelines, and keep projects on track.

You should have around 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within FMCG or Consumer Healthcare. Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork are essential, along with a proactive mindset and a passion for brand storytelling.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Supporting New Product Development (NPD)

    • Plan and organise new product projects from idea to launch.
    • Carry out market research to understand product trends and consumer needs, including collecting information about competitors and organising findings in clear and useful spreadsheets.
    • Research and approach potential suppliers to request their product portfolios and commercial details; collect and organise product samples and related information for project needs.
    • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure they receive the correct documents, information, and data required to move projects forward.
    • Update and maintain Monday.com boards, tasks, and timelines clearly, organised, and up to date.
    • Keep files and notes about each project well organised.
  2. Helping with Packaging Tasks

    • Update and check product packaging, including labels and designs.
    • Work with designers and printing companies to ensure packaging looks right and is ready on time.
    • Check spelling and layout on packaging before it goes to print. Keep track of all packaging files and changes in an organised way.
  3. Marketing and Brand Support

    • Create engaging and professional content for marketing materials such as presentations, leaflets, product overviews, and social media posts. Experience developing content for different marketing formats (not just social media) is important.
    • Ensure brand guidelines are followed across all channels and materials to maintain visual identity and messaging consistency.
    • Support the tracking and reporting of marketing performance, including data on social media results, campaign outcomes, and other key indicators.
    • Keep folders and marketing tools organised and easy to use.
  4. Working with Distributors

    • Be a contact point for global distributors and assist them with their marketing needs.
    • Share materials such as product images, marketing collateral, and launch kits with distributors.
    • Keep the shared online folder with marketing tools tidy and updated.
    • Assist the manager with distributor feedback and communication.
  5. Administrative Tasks

    • Set up meetings, take notes, and follow up on tasks.
    • Keep calendars, checklists, and documents updated.
    • Communicate clearly with team members and partners.
Key Skills and Attributes
  • Experience creating content for marketing materials across print, digital, and product communications, not only for social media.
  • Well-organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks without compromising attention to detail. Clear and professional written and verbal communication.
  • Proactive and collaborative, with the ability to work effectively in a team and support others to achieve goals.
  • Curious, eager to learn, and open to feedback.
  • Handle tasks with care, accuracy, and responsibility; stay calm and focused under pressure and tight deadlines.
Experience & Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in a marketing, communications, or product-related role.
  • Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Marketing, Business, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
  • Experience in content creation, brand support, or product/marketing coordination. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Canva, and Monday.com (or similar project management tools).
  • Non-native speakers must be fully comfortable with writing, reading, and speaking in English in a professional context.
