Overview

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Dublin with some flexibility to work from home. The Gen AI Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying generative AI solutions that meet real business needs. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, translating these into technical implementations, and refining models, prompts, and workflows for production. It also requires analysing data and outputs to ensure quality, accuracy, and performance, as well as documenting solutions clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences. The developer will need strong programming skills, experience in Microsoft AI / Fabric / AWS (including SageMaker, Bedrock) or similar, practical experience with large language models, and familiarity with machine learning frameworks. The role calls for someone who can work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a cross-functional team, applying problem-solving skills and attention to detail. The successful candidate will stay current with advances in AI and related technologies and apply best practice and innovation in their work.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy generative AI solutions that meet real business needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical implementations.
  • Refine models, prompts, and workflows for production use.
  • Analyse data and outputs to ensure quality, accuracy, and performance.
  • Document solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Stay current with advances in AI technologies and apply best practices and innovation.
Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft AI, Azure and AWS AI services (Bedrock and/or SageMaker) and RAG modelling.
  • Proficiency in machine learning algorithms, model development, and evaluation techniques.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages.
  • Experience with data preprocessing, data visualization, and statistical analysis.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • 5+ years of professional experience including 2 years working on LLM and RAG models.
