We have 1 Internal vacancy for a part-time Stock Room Assistant to hold responsibility for the overall duties within the Stock room while also assisting the Retail Manager regarding all stock related queries and issues.

Weekly working hours will total 20 hours, paid on the basis of €13.97 per hour. The role operates on a 5 hour per day shift basis over 4 days between the hours of 08:00 and 13:00. Occasional additional hours will be required and in respect of which overtime will be paid.

MAIN DUTIES
  • Receipting and checking deliveries
  • Unpacking and stocking the shop store
  • Entering stock on EPOS system
  • Bringing stock from store to Gift Shop
  • Merchandising Gift Shop
  • Ensuring the shop store is kept clean and tidy
  • Baling cardboard
  • Ensuring a very efficient & organised system is in place within the stock room
  • Assisting in weekly stock takes
  • Any other duties relating to the Gift Shop and Stores
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
  • Excellent organisational skills – you will have a confident, positive and professional approach to the role
  • Experience of working in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • A team player who is willing to work in different areas if required
  • There may be heavy lifting involved, so you should be willing and able for this
  • Reliable and flexible
