Overview

Account Strategist, SBS Engage, Google Customer Solutions (Greek, English) role at Google. This position involves consulting with a wide variety of existing advertising clients to find optimal advertising solutions and help brands grow using Google's advertising products.

Responsibilities
  • Establish relationships via phone calls or e-mail marketing and conduct regular consultations and sales pitches to advise clients on how to maximize their Google Ads investment.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering an outstanding customer sales experience and helping clients achieve business and marketing objectives.
  • Deliver against ambitious quarterly business and product growth goals.
  • Own a portfolio of small businesses by understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities, managing risks, and building quarterly plans for achievement.
Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing roles.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Greek fluently to manage client relationships in the region.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience strategically assessing and achieving client success via business techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, and engaged selling.
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics, and expertise in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance marketing.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.
  • Ability to manage a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context and consistently overachieve quotas to drive growth.
