Overview

R&D Engineer II role at Real. A global medical device company in Ireland is seeking a contract R&D Engineer II to support a new R&D project focusing on the delivery system for an innovative repair device to treat complex conditions. The project covers the full lifecycle from concept to commercialisation. Start date: ASAP/August. Location: Limerick; onsite 1-3 days per week (generally 1 day per week). Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Responsibilities
  • Support the design and development of a Class III medical device delivery system for a new repair device
  • Contribute to the full lifecycle from concept to commercialisation
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years experience in the design & development of Class III medical devices
  • Experience working with vascular delivery systems, stents or stent grafts
  • Aortic or similar therapy experience
  • Excellent communication skills & team player
Details
  • Start date: ASAP/August
  • Contract length: 12 months with options to extend
  • Location: Limerick, Ireland (onsite 1-3 days per week; typically 1 day)
  • Rate: €40-€55 per hour, depending on experience
