Overview

Base pay range: A global medical device company in Ireland are looking for an R&D Engineer II to join their team on a contract basis. The purpose of the role will be to support a new exciting R&D project. The project will involve the design and development of a new innovative repair device to treat complex conditions. Your focus will be around their delivery system for the product. This project will be full lifecycle, from concept to a new innovative product, all the way to commercialisation.

Responsibilities
  • Support the design and development of a Class III medical device delivery system for a new repair device
  • Contribute to the full product lifecycle from concept through to commercialisation
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years experience in the design & development of Class III medical devices
  • Experience working with vascular delivery systems, stents or stent grafts
  • Aortic or similar therapy experience
  • Excellent communication skills & team player
Role details

The start date is ASAP/August. The initial contract length is 12 months with options to extend. The role is based in Limerick and will require at least 1-3 days onsite per week, generally 1 day per week. The rate is between €40 - €55 per hour depending on experience.
