Job Summary: Vardis Cleaning is seeking a dedicated and reliable General Cleaning Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in various settings, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and other common areas.
  • Empty trash bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Follow health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the supervisor.
  • Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts.
