Responsibilities
  • Providing guidance and direction to nursing staff
  • Supervising, mentoring, and developing; including staff rostering, delegation, and performance management
  • Overseeing daily operations
  • Facilitating communication between healthcare teams
  • Assisting in the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives
  • Identifying and managing risks within the area of responsibility
  • Assisting in the management of nursing budgets
  • Contributing to service planning and development

What would you need
  • Previous experience in the nursing sector in Ireland (Minimum 10 years)
  • Previous experience as an ADON preferable; however CNMs with 5+ years experience welcome
  • NMBI PIN number
  • 2 previous employment references
  • Strong knowledge of HIQA standards
  • A fluent level of English both written and oral is essential
  • Own transport is desirable but not essential
