The role is a 36-month position designed to strengthen the depth and breadth of technical, analytical, business and leadership capability within the business and will consist of three 12 month rotations in different parts of our business in Ireland. It provides opportunities for individuals to excel personally and professionally and impact on the organisation\'s goals and objectives in Compliance, Supply, Strategy & Profit Plan. The Biotech team require Technical Scientist Graduates with science qualification experience to provide multidisciplinary expertise and technical support to the Analytical Sciences, Process(Cell Culture) Sciences, Quality Control and Manufacturing Science and Technology teams.

Responsibilities
  • Bring energy, knowledge, innovation and leadership to carry out the following: Perform laboratory experiments required to deliver on project timelines
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including method optimisation and troubleshooting
  • Preparation of documentation associated with the projects in accordance with GDP (good documentation practice) and site procedures
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional projects, problem solving teams for troubleshooting, and investigations across site
  • Prepare, review and approval of technical documents, procedures, CAPAs, change control, deviations, metrics, etc.
  • Knowledgeable in protein chemistry cell culture, and analytical techniques including method validations, method transfers and equipment qualifications
Qualifications
  • MSc/BSc. qualification (Science)
  • Knowledgeable in biotechnology, protein chemistry and analytical techniques. Method validations, method transfers and Equipment qualifications in a GMP environment
  • Demonstrated successes in a team environment, such as leading project teams or problem solving teams; cross-functional project experience
  • High level written and verbal communications with advanced PC skills
  • Preparation of documentation associated with the projects in accordance with GDP (good documentation practice) and site procedures. Preparation, review and approval of technical documents, procedures, CAPAs, change control, deviations, metrics, etc.
