Overview

We are expanding our Process capability in Cork and are looking for Senior Process Engineers to join our team (we already have over 100+ process professionals on the team). You'll get the opportunity to become involved in some of the most interesting and largest Pharma/Bio projects in the world.

In addition to managing large-scale one-off projects, at PM Group we also provide a Managed Service for capital projects to a growing number of clients. We are also looking for Process Engineers to join our site-based Managed Service teams across Ireland providing a cost-efficient and effective framework for project delivery to our clients. We take projects ranging in capital value from €100k to €15M from concept through all stages of the project life-cycle to handover. We safely deliver diverse portfolios of projects including buildings, cleanrooms, utilities, process installations, regulatory upgrades, and equipment replacements.

These roles offer a flexible working arrangement incorporating a mix of site and home working.

Responsibilities

Below is indicative of the type of activities you will be involved in if successful for this role:

  • Design of process and utilities – preparation of PFDs, P&IDs, Process Design Philosophies, and calculations.
  • Coordination of design with other design disciplines.
  • Experience in API Design / Operation is an advantage.
  • Process Safety or Process Simulation areas are available to specialize in.
  • Awareness of process safety engineering and process safety management.
  • Interfacing with client design team/end users.
  • Delivery of agreed design scope within budget hours and schedule.
Qualifications
  • Good knowledge of relevant design codes.
  • Self-motivated and self-driven.
  • Full Driving Licence.
  • A degree qualification in Process/Chemical engineering and substantial experience in the pharma / biopharmaceutical sector.
