The Opportunity:
Due to continued business growth, we are excited to announce that we are looking for a Senior Surveyor to join our Survey and UAV department in Kilcullen, Co. Kildare. This largely field-based role offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals with previous surveying experience who are eager to advance their careers. What will I be doing in my new role?
- Ability to lead and setup survey projects.
- Undertaking various types of surveys sessions using a variety of specialised and exciting equipment and technology
- Work with modern survey methods and survey devices such as total stations, GNSS and data collectors.
- Establish survey controls, setting out gridlines, levelling, traversing and other land surveying work.
- Record surveying information accurately and consistently on site to the agreed specification and scope
- Process data from the field into the office, post processing with software, such as AutoCAD
- Assist with detailed field and office surveying assignments.
- Ensure that all survey kit is maintained and well kept.
- Deliver to company policies, procedures, standards and best practices.
- Any other duties as required by the business
Requirements of the role:
- A minimum of 3 year's site survey experience using topographical instruments
- Very good level of English (written, written, speaking)
- Physically capable to carry out the role
- Full clean Irish/EU manual driving licence
- Relevant Qualifications and/or relevant experience
- Experience of working to high safety standards.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Knowledge of role related post-processing software.
- Strong technical knowledge.
- Flexibility to travel nationwide as required by our clients.
