We now have a fantastic new opportunity for Conference Manager to join our team and contribute to the future success of Killashee Hotel.

Conference and Meeting room spaces have been recently refurbished and redesigned providing state-of-the-art facilities for our customers to enjoy.

Objective of the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Conference Manager will be responsible for the smooth running of all conferences in the hotel, ensuring that our guests experience the highest quality service at meetings and events.

Main Duties:

  1. To ensure that our customers receive excellent service during conferences and meetings.
  2. Responsible for correct rostering within the department.
  3. Engage with guests and act upon guest feedback, actively encouraging customer reviews.
  4. Ensure SOPs are updated and all team members are fully trained.
  5. Provide team training on our standards and customer service.
  6. Work alongside and support the Operations Manager in all departmental projects and initiatives.
  7. Motivate and create an engaging work environment for all team members.
  8. Have excellent product knowledge and enjoy sharing it.
  9. Guide and mentor team members to ensure that they are continuing to learn and develop.

Key Requirements:

  1. 2 years of previous experience in a similar role.
  2. Excellent communication skills.
  3. Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
  4. Passionate about hospitality and excellent service.
  5. Flexible with hours/own transport.
  6. Strong interpersonal, leadership, time management, and organisational skills.
