Network Security Specialist – 6 Month Contract, Hybrid, Dublin City Centre
What's Involved- Manage and administer security technologies and services.
- Respond to security incidents, drive resolutions, and document lessons learned.
- Deploy and build new security infrastructure to strengthen defences.
- Promote and maintain compliance with security policies and standards.
- Mentor junior staff and act as a role model within the team.
- Identify gaps in processes and recommend automation or efficiency improvements.
- Strong knowledge of Zscaler Web Gateway, WAF, and IDS/IPS technologies.
- Experience resolving incidents and leading technical problem-solving.
- Ability to design, implement, and support security infrastructure.
- Familiarity with governance, compliance, and audit processes.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with a focus on collaboration.
- A proactive, results-driven mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- 1-2 days on site per week
