About the Role

We now have a vacancy for a SHEQ advisor in the Dublin Region.

Responsibilities
  • Providing assistance to the project management team on practical management of the health, safety, quality and environmental systems.
  • Preparing health, safety, quality and environmental documents such as method statements, risk assessments, health and safety plans, environmental management plans, quality management plans, etc.
  • Reviewing method statement risk assessments prepared by sub-contractors to ensure compliance with legislation and the integrated management system.
  • Completing site inspections and ensuring that non-conformances raised are successfully closed in a timely manner.
  • Monitoring and reporting on the performance of the health, safety, quality and environmental systems to management.
  • Attending the health, safety, quality and environmental officer meetings and advising on suitable action plans.
  • Recording and logging health, safety, quality and environmental statistics, as required.
  • Liaising with all departments as required, ensuring a good working relationship to achieve the best practices in health, safety, quality and environmental systems.

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Ability to commute/relocate: Dublin, CO. Dublin: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
  • Work authorisation: Ireland (required)
