Overview

We are Kids Inc. We provide Early Years and Afterschool Care services. With more than 25 years in the childcare industry, we operate across Ireland. Our goal is to extend children's daily learning through sports and creative programs with a strict No Screen Time policy. Kids Inc runs 4 creches and preschool services in Dublin and hosts over 60 onsite Breakfast and Afterschool Care programs nationwide.

The Role
  • Managing the daily operations of our after-school programs across different sites within your area.
  • Supporting and guiding a team of Managers and staff, ensuring they are well-trained and confident in their roles.
  • Creating fun, creative, and educational activities that meet the needs of the children.
  • Ensuring that all safety and safeguarding guidelines are followed.
  • Building positive relationships with parents, school staff, and local communities.
  • Visiting locations regularly to ensure centres meet our high standards.
  • Assisting with staff recruitment and training strategy.
  • Managing budgets, resources, and operational matters across the area.
  • Addressing concerns from parents or staff in a caring and timely manner.
  • Overall responsibility for 5-8 afterschool centres.

Your ProfileEssential Skills And Experience
  • Previous experience in a leadership or management role, ideally in childcare or after-school programs.
  • Minimum of Level 6 Childcare qualification (or similar field).
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A genuine passion for working with children and commitment to providing a nurturing environment.
  • Fluent English speaker. Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable leadership style.
  • A proactive problem-solver who can manage multiple tasks while staying calm under pressure.
  • A good understanding of safeguarding practices and child welfare.
  • Garda vetting and reference checks required for child safety.
Desirable Qualification
  • A full clean and valid driver\'s license.
  • Confidence in speaking the Irish language

All successful candidates will need to go through Garda Vetting and provide a valid Police Certificate (applicable to employees who have lived outside Ireland for more than 6 months since age 18).
