Overview

Operations, Process & People Leadership (Tax Oversight), Managing Director at State Street.

What You Will Be Responsible For
  • Lead and coordinate operational execution across tax-related processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and simplification of workflows.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
  • Managing client relationships with a strong focus on collaboration and adherence to SLAs.
  • Act as the primary interface between tax operations and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee service delivery from external vendors, including performance tracking and issue resolution.
  • Ensure adherence to internal procedures and contribute to the evolution of the Target Operating Model (TOM).
  • Support strategic projects and transformation initiatives.
What We Value
  • Proven track record in operations or process management.
  • 10+ years experience in a related role
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Experienced in handling challenging clients through expertise, communication, and relationship management.
  • Driving a strong risk and control environment including conduct, ethical behaviour and risk excellence / speak up culture
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Familiarity with tax operations or financial reporting is a plus.
  • Fluent in English & German
