Operational Excellence Leader

This role is designed for a dynamic leader with a strong background in operational excellence, process optimization and people management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate operational execution across tax-related processes ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives including automation and simplification of workflows.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
  • Manage client relationships with a strong focus on collaboration and adherence to SLAs.
  • Act as the primary interface between tax operations and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee service delivery from external vendors including performance tracking and issue resolution.
  • Ensure adherence to internal procedures and contribute to the evolution of the Target Operating Model (TOM).
  • Support strategic projects and transformation initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven track record in operations or process management.
  • 10+ years experience in a related role.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Experienced in handling challenging clients through expertise communication and relationship management.
  • Driving a strong risk and control environment including conduct ethical behaviour and risk excellence speak up culture.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Familiarity with tax operations or financial reporting is a plus.
  • Fluent in English German.
